A day in the life of Clay

Clay is as busy as they come. He learned to crawl a few weeks ago and that is not enough apparently. He pulls himself up on everything and always wants to hold my hands so he can walk around. He is very curious and loves to explore now that he can. He also LOVES to play with Koby and Spencer. Luckily, they love it too! Here are a few random snapshots of my busy guy over the last few days...

To Hudson, Love Spencer

So, EVERYDAY (many times) Spencer tells me how sad he is because he misses Hudson (My brother Tim and his wife Shelbie's baby). He is one week younger than Clay and Spencer is obviously obsessed with him. He tells me all the time that he wants to live by Hudson and he gets this sad look on his face and sniffles. It is cute. The other day we colored pictures to send to him and today Spencer made a little video tape of himself doing a magic trick for Hudson to watch. So, Hudson, here is your good magician buddy...We love and miss you guys!

Fire Chief Koby and Spencer

We took a trip to the Johnstown/Milliken Firestation where we had a private tour from a real live fireman in our ward, Blair Howe! The boys were in awe of all the huge firetrucks and we had to tear tham away from the place. We all got to take a ride around town in the newest truck. Koby was in the front and the rest of us sat in the back. Pretty cool! Here are some pics...

Clay is officially mobile!

Tonight was the night (at 7 1/2 months)! Clay was playing with Brandon and Koby and Spencer in their room while they were getting ready for bed and just started chasing after a ball. Just the motivation he needed I guess! He has been so close for so long, but just didn't actually crawl for some reason. He is pretty fast and is so excited as he crawls. Here is super cute proof on video!

Team Hansen!

Today was Koby and Spencer's first basketball game with Dad as coach! They both did really well. Koby made six baskets and Spencer made two (in warm-up), but that counts to him! Spencer is a little silly and would do some weirdo run down the court while looking at us to see if we're watching (and laughing). He is definitely the class clown. Koby was chewing on his shirt, it is a nervous habit he inherited from Brandon. Who knew you could pass that down? Here are a few highlights from the game...

Appropriate or not, this is cute!

So, I came out front the other day to find Koby and Spencer giving Clay a "blessing"! I snuck the camera and took a picutre before they could see me. Not so sure this is appropriate play, but I'm sure there are worse things they could be pretending. Anyway, they must have some good examples in their life because they actually said a very nice blessing for Clay!
