Recycled Platters

I bought this cute glass plate/white vase for a good deal (I thought) at $7. Then I went to the thrift store and bought a few plates, bowls and glass mugs for a total of $5. A little arranging, some glue (E 6000), and voila...two cute new platters. Easy, cheap and fast is the only kind of crafting I can get in these days. Why not dig through your dishes, candle holders, and vases and create something new too?

You have 3 boys and a girl who just learned to climb up on tables, are you sure you want to stack a bunch of plates and mugs so close to the edge?

Love the platters. we had a lot of fun doing that a couple years ago. It's so fun shopping for cute plates and being creative for the base.
