That's right, the Wiggles are in the Hansen home once again. The Wiggles and Baby Einstein were the very first kids shows to enter our home. Koby LOVED the Wiggles. Some of you remember his obsession with them. He didn't call things red or yellow, they were Murray's color or Greg's color. Since he was our first child and this show was the first one he loved, it was fun for us to watch them with him - as silly and annoying as they can be. We were entertained watching Koby enjoy his favorite shows.Well, Clay has now developed a love for - yep - Baby Einstein and The Wiggles! He is my third, and I still love watching him get so into these shows. He dances and copies everything the Wiggles do. We don't have cable now, so he just watches our old dvds. I hear their is a new Wiggle now and I'm not sure I am ready to say bye to whoever has been replaced (am I a stay-at-home mom or what?)
I know my sister has allowed and welcomed Barney into her home (one that still annoys me). What annoying shows do you watch now or songs do you listen to thanks to your children?

It seems I was a lot pickier with Aaron, my first. I DID NOT allow Barney, (he is annoying...)Teletubbies (even they insult the intelligence of a small, small child) or Sponge Bob, who i find a bit rude. Now that I'm on my 3rd child, I've relaxed a bit. We now occasionally watch Barney (at least it's kind-hearted and somewhat educational), Teleteubbies on RARE occasions (unintelligent maybe, but definitely not harmful) but I still draw the line at SpongeBob.
I can still hear Koby singing "yummy, Yummy, YUmmy, YUMMY, Fruit SALA-AD"

Yes - fruit salad, yummy, yummy! I remember coming over for haircuts and talking about our love of The Wiggles - I might have to go get my DVD's out too - of course I'll probably bethe only one watching them since our youngest is now 4! Love the Wiggles!
just read the question at the bottom...we LOVE Max & Ruby - Charlie & Lola and Curious George! Not much for TV any more - except for our family movie night on Friday - but there are times when the TV NEEDS to be on - and that's what we watch!
Can you say YO GABBA GABBA, this show is very annoying but Hudson loves it. They teach you through song not to bite your friends and remember where you put your stuff. Not a huge fan but hey, keeps him locked!
We have never watched the Wiggles or Barney. I have never thought about it until now. I never DVR them.
At the moment we are into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins. It used to be Dora, but it annoyed Paul how they speak both English and Spanish ???

Um I think Thomas wins out on the most annoying show ever!!
But more important than the shows and how cute Clay is watching them, is the fact that he is wearing boots and a diaper. That cracked me up!! :0)

I totally remember crying when Steve on Blues Clues left for college and was replaced by Joe!! How silly are we stay at home moms? I so remember Koby with the wiggles...love that Clay is following in his brothers foot steps!

The boys and the Wiggles. Good times, good times. We've been singing the Cow song lately... I eat green grass and I moo all day, I'm a cow. Moo! I'm a cow. Moo!
Man, the things we do for our kids...
my boys used to watch caillou all the time and i never realized how much " I " liked it until i went to put it on the other day and they said, "thats a baby show"... i teared up and wished I could rewind to the days when the loved caillou! Clay is sooo cute!
So this is what I have to look forward to?! Oh, I can't wait. Right now Kate LOVES baby einstein. It's been a LONG LONG time since I've had to watch kid shows so I guess soon enough Ill find out what shows I'm ok with, and what ones annoy me!
I like Caillou but I think he wines too much! I can't handle listening to him in the background while I am doing things. So many kids shows drive me nuts but there are some really cute ones too. My favorite will always be Sesame street. I think it is pretty funny!
