Airshow aka Loud and Fast airplanes

In case you weren't one of the tens of thousands of people who waited in traffic (for two accidents), and creeped slowly through Hill airforce base for 30 minutes trying to find a parking spot, then (after three hours in the car) walked for 45 minutes and waited in a line for 20 minutes to use port-a-potty (that you were excited to see), don't worry. Because Clay has a recap of the air show that you missed. He talked this way - nonstop - for at least an hour and a half after we got home. These are the kinds of outings you get to do when you have boys (big or little, because I am pretty sure the dads were more impressed than the kids!) The thunderbirds did not disappoint.

About to go inside an airplane (with anther Brandon - a missionary who we love from our ward in Colorado)...
Excited to be so close to a helicopter...
Sitting on top of some fighter jet...
Inside a helicopter shooting the enemy...

YES! I've so been there! All for Mr. D! The girls did say they enjoyed it as well - in addition to our outing it was 102 degrees - no shade to be found on solid black top!

Jason and Summer, but really just Summer said...

I am looking forward to doing 'BOY' things! Clay is so cute! When are you moving back to Colorado?
