I will never understand why...
I spend a good amount of time straightening the house after my boys go to bed every night so it is perfect before I go to bed...
...then, I wake up and spend the first hour of my morning cleaning.
Can anyone explain this? It baffles me about as much as my laundry baskets being full of dirty clothes before I am done putting the clean laundry away.

I'm with ya sister! I will say though - throughout this pregnancy - I've dilligent in reminding my kiddos that we expect them to clean up after themselves -- in hopes that when the baby comes those habits will stick at least enough to take some of the work load off of me! I don't feel as nuerotic as I did with all my other pregnancies - my kids are all older and I think capable of doing more to help out at this point -- it's a nice change of pace -- but still I have about 30 minutes of straightening to do now that they're gone for school - after cleaning last night as well! I'm gonna workout first though!
All I can say is boys, boys, boys. I didn't say kids as husbands can do as much damage as the kids do in just a short amount of time.
